Easter Divine Service in Hua Hin
On 27th of March the Easter Divine Service was celebrated in our Hua Hin congregation. Our Priest Christian from the Bangkok congregation travelled with his family to Hua Hin to celebrate the service. The altar was decorated with painted eggs to symbolize new life, which came from the rise of Jesus Christ to this world. The Divine service was held in 2 languages and translated into Thai language. The Bible reading was offered in Thai and German. The singing of the congregation, violin and a song from our children gave a festive frame to this service. The sermon was about the rise of Jesus Christ and the meaning for us today. Jesus as our redeemer and role model was in the center. By some events from his life it was mentioned what we can do today and what the meaning of a Christian life is today.
Despite of some adverse circumstances the service started around 30 minutes later. But it was a blessed time together. Some members followed the service online by Skype.
After the service the congregation spent some time together and there were a lot of interesting conversations.
